I arranged the much-loved hymn God Be with You Till We Meet Again in 2002 at the request of Jack Eiserer, the husband of my childhood piano teacher, who sang in the Kansas City Metro Men's Chorus. It was early in my activity as a composer and arranger, and to this day I can't remember if they ended up performing this arrangement!

I had even forgotten I had written it until the spring of 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic, when I took on the long-needed project of scouring through my files of old pieces to see if there was anything I had forgotten about, and this was one of them. I made a few minor tweaks to the original arrangement, but it is otherwise as it was when I wrote it back when I first started to put pencil to paper.
